Our entry level product for construction sites or events is shade cloth, also known as scrim. This is our cheapest entry level product. It is very opened weaved so it is designed for high wind areas. It’s the cheapest quality but yet it is still really quite tough. Our normal application of shade cloth is on civil infrastructure sites where you need long runs which are normally 5 or 10 rolls of printed shade cloth. It is cost effective and our cheapest product..
A couple of things to remember with shade cloth is it generally comes in one size only which is 50m x 1.8m and it has button hole eyelets for installation which will be at the top. When using this you really want to keep your print bold and simple. It’s not great for detail because it doesn’t have a lot of material to print on so just a simple logo and branding is needed.
It’s not a reusable product, it’s definitely something you’d use once because it gets a bit tatty then you throw away but for its price point it’s great for what it needs to do. So the positives are its cost effective, easy to install, easy to transport and the negatives are it doesn’t quite give the great print reproduction but it’s good enough print reproduction. The life span would be between 6 and 12 months.
