What a great project! Amalgamated Property Group approached Mesh Direct in October of 2019 to collaborate on their new stylish new property development in Canberra for vinyl banner billboard and banner mesh. We were able to indulge our passion for design and marketing as well as our love for original, high-performance answers to demanding practical requirements!

The Challenge

Faced with a plain hoarding fence, a blank billboard and a dull viewing platform, we embraced the challenge of creating eye-catching, innovative and memorable design solutions that fulfilled all the industry requirements for large-scale developments. The result is a marketing success! Combining engaging visual elements with all of our accumulated grand format printing expertise, we were able to design a cohesive marketing scheme that fulfilled all of the functional necessities of construction site signage.

The Products

The client is working in a high-graffiti area, so we opted to use banner mesh with a keder edge for the hoarding. This creates an entirely waterproof surface between the fabric and the frame, ensuring maximum durability and long-lasting visual impact.

Bold colours and render files were the star of the show on the vinyl banner billboard, painting the soon-to-be-built apartments in an eye-catching and enticing light. As with any marketing strategy, the aim is to be both hard to miss and hard to resist!

The 'coup de grace' has to be the viewing platform's metamorphosis. This un-enticing visual element was transformed into a memorable and evocative selling-point when we covered it with our banner mesh, on which we printed an image of the views people would see from their new apartments! The idea is to help passers-by visualise themselves living in the space, drawing them into the narrative that Amalgamated Property is weaving together in this new development.

This project really enabled us to flex all of our creative and technical muscles, which is always such a pleasure. Results rarely disappoint when we can play to our strengths!
