At Mesh Direct, we love being part of history just as much as we love making history! When Mammoth Projects reached out to us in November 2019, we were excited to collaborate with them as they give Clifton's historic Imperial Hotel a new face and provide them with one of our Flame Retardent Premium Banner Mesh. The development is set to be completed in 2020, and we can't wait to see the results!

The Challenge

While Mammoth Projects get busy restoring the Imperial Hotel, they wanted passers-by to have something exciting and inspiring to look at rather than dull scaffolding.

We worked with them to design banners which combine security, practicality and aesthetics. Mesh Direct's priorities are always to meet site regulations, client specifications and public expectations!

The Products

Since construction sites are havens for security risks, we opted for our trusty Flame Retardent Premium Banner Mesh. This product is durable and sturdy as well as being highly weather-resistant, whether it's being battered by a dramatic downpour or searing dry winds. Crucially, it also slows or prevents the spread of fire.

We equipped the banners with plenty of pockets and extra eyelets, so that, once installed, we could guarantee maximum security.

In a stroke of genius, Mammoth Projects wanted the banners printed with images of the historic pub in its hey-day! This way, passers-by would get a glimpse into the past as the pub was being brought into the future.

The Result

The final result is both whimsical and informative! The life-size image of the pub is definitely a crowd-pleaser, and it keeps the space relevant while Mammoth Projects work on the building.
