Open Fencing

Open fencing most often refers to portable aluminium cyclone fences or galvanised steel fences, and is generally used in residential construction sites. The wrap helps to limit the dispersion of dust and debris through the fence, but it can also act as a sail in high winds. However, open fencing tends to be resistant to other weather phenomena such as rain and UV. 

Solid Fencing

Solid fencing is generally referred to as hoarding. The term is used to describe timber or other self-supporting structures erected around larger development sites, as well as sites with heavy pedestrian and vehicle traffic. Hoarding can be erected using its own supports, or attached to an overhead structure, like scaffolding for example. This type of fencing can also be dressed up with wraps, enabling developers to put this blank canvas to good marketing use. Furthermore, the wrap can protect the timber from rain, crosswinds and UV, helping your hoarding to last longer.
